A White House physician has insisted that the president is fit and healthy.
In recent weeks, there has been concerns for 78-year-old President Trump’s health after eagle-eyed people spotted bruising on his hands.
“Scrolling Getty and couldn’t help but notice this photo of a huge bruise on Trump’s hand today,” one person posted to Twitter last month.
Another person questioned at the time: “Trump has a massive bruise on the back of his right hand. How did he get that?”
And people’s concerns came at a good time as the president’s annual physical examination took place on Friday (April 11), and his medical report has since been released to the public.
In it, the White House physician Sean Barbabella described Trump as being in ‘good health’ and said that he’s ‘fully fit to execute the duties of Commander-in-Chief’.
Barbabella wrote in his report: “President Trump remains in excellent health, exhibiting robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function.
“His active lifestyle continues to contribute significantly to his well-being,” Barbabella continued to write.
“President Trump’s days include participation in multiple meetings, public appearances, press availability, and frequent victories in golf events.”
Barbabella also noted that Trump has lost 20 pounds since his last physical examination as president back in 2020.

Trump also underwent cognitive testing as part of his health examinations on Friday, to which the 78-year-old bragged that he got ‘every answer right’.
“I don’t know what to tell you other than I got every answer right,” he told reporters on Air Force One, as per MSNBC.
When asked to give more details about the test he took, Trump replied: “I think it’s a pretty well-known test. Whatever it is, I got every one — I got it all right.”
Reportedly, the whole examination took five hours and took place at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
The president continued to say of his results: “Overall, I felt I was in very good shape. A good heart, a good soul — a very good soul.”

Trump is the oldest president to ever been sworn into office. However, there were more concerns aired about Joe Biden during the 2024 election, who is now 82-years-old.
Ultimately, Biden went on to drop of out of the race and handed the baton to his 60-year-old vice president, Kamala Harris.
While Trump went on to prove victorious, it was reported that last year’s election was ‘the second-closest since 1968’, NPR said at the time.
