Trump ally makes scathing threat for any US ‘sniper tourists’ who allegedly paid $90,000 to shoot people on ‘human safari’ trips

An ally of Donald Trump has spoken out amid horrifying accusations that ‘tourists’ paid up to $90,000 to shoot civilians, including children, in the 1990s.

The alleged ‘human safari’ is said to have taken place during the Bosnian War, with journalist and novelist Ezio Gavazzeni claiming to have uncovered evidence that so-called ‘sniper tourists’ from overseas could fork out up to $90,000 to gun down innocent people of all ages.

Gavazzeni described the situation back in the day as a ‘manhunt’ by ‘very wealthy people’ who were granted permission to murder ‘defenceless civilians’ from Bosnian Serb positions in the hills around the city of Sarajevo during a brutal siege from 1992 to 1996, the longest siege in modern warfare.

Tourists are said to have paid different rates to gun down men and women, with children reportedly costing a higher price.

“There were Germans, French, English … people from all Western countries who paid large sums of money to be taken there to shoot civilians,” Gavazzeni claimed, as per the complaint in Milan.

“There were no political or religious motivations. They were rich people who went there for fun and personal satisfaction. We are talking about people who love guns who perhaps go to shooting ranges or on safari in Africa.”

Congresswoman Anna Paulina, an ally of President Trump, took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to make a threat to any Americans who could have been involved.

“Regarding the alleged ‘murder tourism’ discussed below, I have opened an investigation into this matter and am in contact with the Bosnian Consulate as well as the Italian Embassy,” she wrote.

“Paying money to shoot civilians—and even worse to shoot children—is a level of evil our country cannot and will not tolerate. If there are any Americans who have engaged in this, they deserve to be charged and prosecuted.”

An investigation into the alleged ‘human safari’ trips is ongoing, with Gavazzeni claiming to Italy’s La Repubblica newspaper that ‘many’ participated in the crimes, at least 100 people in total.

Italian prosecutors are now looking to identify if any Italians were involved in the alleged sniper tourism and, if so, charge them with murder.

A spokesperson from the Bosnian Consulate in Milan on behalf of the Bosnian government said as per the New York Post: “We are impatient to discover the truth about such a cruel matter in order to close a chapter of history. I am in possession of certain information I will be sharing with the investigators.”
