Lorde has left fans speechless with an explicit photo of her privates in her new vinyl release.
As anticipation builds for the singer’s new album, ‘Virgin,’ some fans are finding themselves more surprised than they expected.
Especially those who’ve already laid eyes on a rather graphic image included in the vinyl edition.
The pop singer, known for pushing artistic boundaries, appears to have done so quite literally this time, with a surprising photo included in the vinyl edition.
The album ‘Virgin’ officially drops on June 27, marking Lorde’s return to music after a three-year hiatus since ‘Solar Power’ debuted in 2022.
In recent weeks, the New Zealand singer has been building hype with cryptic social media posts, exclusive listening parties, and teasers.

Among the images included in the vinyl’s packaging is a striking and explicit photograph: a close-up shot of what appears to be a v**ina, visible through transparent plastic pants.
It’s left little to the imagination, and even less up for interpretation.
While the identity of the subject in the photo hasn’t been officially confirmed, many fans are assuming it’s Lorde herself.
The image has stirred immediate and intense reactions across social media.
One shocked fan wrote: “Just got the ‘Virgin’ vinyl, I opened it and first thing I saw was Lorde’s hairy p**** hun I wasn’t ready for that jumpscare lmaooo.”
Another quipped: “Why is Lorde’s beaver all over my timeline?” The provocative photo has even sparked a new fan-coined term – ‘Lordeussy.’

Reactions to the bold imagery have been mixed.
Some fans are concerned about receiving the explicit material unexpectedly, especially if it’s being shipped to shared or family homes.
“My Lorde vinyl is getting delivered to my parents’ house. I’m scared,” one user confessed.
However, others have praised Lorde for reclaiming bodily autonomy and confronting societal taboos.
One penned: “I’m sorry but Lorde putting her cooch on vinyl is iconic asf.”
While the image might have caught some by surprise, it wasn’t entirely without warning.
Lorde’s official website includes a disclaimer on the product page, noting: “Parental advisory: adult images.”
The listing describes the physical release as a ’12” X-ray picture disc vinyl’ with ‘high gloss gatefold’ and a full-color booklet.
