A lip reader has ‘revealed’ the sweet nickname President Donald Trump has for his wife as they spoke at the military parade.
The POTUS celebrated his 79th birthday on Saturday (June 14) with a huge $45 million military parade in Washington DC, dedicated to the US Army’s 250th anniversary.
Trump walked out to ‘Hail to the Chief’ and ‘Happy Birthday’ alongside First Lady Melania Trump, his family, and other officials to watch the power of the US military on full display, with tanks and aircrafts spanning the decades and uniformed soldiers in period and modern day dress patrolling through the capital.
The parade told the story of the American Army, from the Battle of Lexington in the Revolutionary War up to today and was the first time troops gathered in such large numbers through the streets since the end of the Gulf War in 1991.

When taking to the podium, an eagle-eyed professional lip reader claims Trump made a heartwarming three-word comment to his wife which included a sweet moniker.
As Trump made his way to the stage, Melania touched his back and he reciprocated the gesture.
Lip-reader Jeremy Freeman told the Irish Star as she moved to take her seat, Trump said to her: “Thank you, baby.”
This came after an awkward and frankly bizarre exchange between the pair.
Another lip reader, Nicola Hickling, told the same publication that Melania remarked of the parading troops: “They’re good.”
Trump allegedly responded: “I pushed my finger on one of them.”
Yep, no idea what he meant by this either.
Melania then reportedly said: “You didn’t do that.”
Elsewhere during the event, Trump launched into an eight-minute-long speech to the attendees where he said in part: “Every other country celebrates their victories. It’s about time America did too.
“We’re the hottest country in the world right now,” he continued. “If you threaten the American people, our soldiers are coming for you.”
Afterwards, the Trump’s and attendees were treated to a massive display of fireworks over the Tidal Basin.

The White House communications director, Steven Cheung, boasted that more than 250,000 ‘patriots showed up’ to lend their support at the event, though attendees and news reports suggest otherwise.
Footage of the parade and the crowds prompted many to believe that figure was vastly inflated with reports from the Associated Press, the New York Times and Fox News suggesting the turnout was much smaller.
Still, the big day was a dream come true for the POTUS who said he had wanted a military parade since his first presidential term in 2017 and hailed it a huge ‘success’.
Speaking to Fox News, he said: “It was beautiful. We had a fantastic audience.”

That was despite the presence of ‘No Kings’ protesters who deliberately organised a clash to make a point between its ‘people-powered movement and the costly, wasteful, and un-American birthday parade in Washington’.
Demonstrators took to the streets across several major cities in the US in Saturday in protest of Trump’s supposed authoritarian agenda and his aggressive crackdown on migrants which earlier this month saw him send thousands of National Guard troops and Marines to Los Angeles to attend to civil unrest.
Disruption broke out over immigration enforcement raids where scores of undocumented migrants were arrested in Latino communities.
