Reese Witherspoon has shared some new snaps of her and her family on social media, and people can’t help but say the same thing about her daughter.
Just like many of us, Reese Witherspoon is also gearing up for holiday celebrations, parties and family togetherness. The actress even shared some festive photos of her and her family on Instagram and… well, it has pretty much got everyone saying the exact same thing.
The first picture shows Reese, with her daughter Ava, who she shares with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, with the pair beaming at the camera. And you would be forgiven for forgetting which one is actually Reese Witherspoon because they look unbelievably similar, even for mother and daughter.
This picture has started to do the rounds on other social media pages and people have been insisting one thing they may not have noticed before about the pair.

Not only does Ava clearly look like a younger version of her mother but she also looks almost identical to her father as well. Some people have even argued that Ava actually looks more like her father than mother.
On Reddit one person commented: “It’s one of those pictures that if you focus on one thing you totally see Ryan but focus on another feature you see Reese.”
Another wrote: “I’m not saying Ava doesn’t resemble Reese at all but compare her to a young Ryan. So similar!
“[The ex-couple’s son] Deacon looks so much like Reese and that happens! Kids don’t always take more after the parent of the same sex.”
A third wrote: “She looks exactly like both Ryan and Reese at the same time, it’s almost scary.”
Another commented: “I can’t get over how she has her dad’s EXACT eyes? Totally uncanny!
With another simply joking: “She looks like Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe had a baby.”

If you can believe it, this isn’t the first time that a photo of Ava and Witherspoon has caused a stir on the internet.
In fact this is quite a normal occurrence every time the actress shares pictures of herself and her daughter.
Back in February 2024, the celeb shared some pictures of her and Ava while out in France during Paris Fashion week.
It had many people remarking that they thought the actress simply had a twin that she had kept under wraps for a few years and it is actually easy enough to see why.
